How to Install init-select software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

init-select software package provides init system selection tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install init-select

init-select is installed in your system.

Make ensure the init-select package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep init-select *

You will get with init-select package name, version, architecture and description in a table
